also known as The 4 Days Where I Became a Hardcore Gamer

I had the flu this past week and it sucked so bad. Probably one of my Top 3 Worst Flus ever. Day 1 & 2 I had a fever, Day 3 the most intense sinus pressure and chest pain I’ve ever experienced. It seriously felt like my head was in a vise. This flu had everything nightmares, stomach aches, dizzyness, impaired hearing. I didn’t leave my house for 4 days and was bored out of my mind. My mom performed at some outdoor Tet festival on Geary and Polk on Sunday and I’m bummed I missed that cause I haven’t seen her sing in a long time.

Young recently let me borrow his Sega Dreamcast indefinitely so being stuck in my room finally allowed an opportunity for me to use it. I really got sucked into this game Shenmue. I don’t know what happened to me, but I got so absorbed into this RPG Action Game, I spent over 20 hours on it without realizing it. I’m not even joking. My fingertips were red from beating up thugs. I even looked up hints on lame gamer message boards (you know the kind where people type “PWN3d” and “HaX0r” on it) so I could advance the plot. Sad. I’m so glad I finished the game so it won’t eat up anymore hours of my life. But there is a 4-disc sequel that I haven’t touched yet. I’m afraid.

I also got this arcade emulator for my computer and downloaded The Simpsons Arcade Game.

that was nice. i missed this game. it reminds me of the arcade at golfland growing up in san jose.
