Is this the same person? I saw a trailer for this new Ice Cube movie called “Are We Done Yet”. Basically the premise is that Ice Cube has gone family man and he’s moving from BK to CT to buy a big house that needs repairs but the house keeps falling apart and (cut to scenes of Cube in coveralls falling through the ceiling or accidentally hammering his thumb and then a can of paint falls on his head or something). It took about 2 minutes into the trailer for Young to say to me, “Hey Ice Cube is remaking that Shelly Long & Tom Hanks movie The Money Pit.” Amerikkka’s Most Wanted is probably my favorite rap album ever and one of my most favorite Bomb Squad productions. It’s surreal to see the guy who penned “The N***a Ya Love to Hate” changing diapers on the silver screen to the music of Madness (Our House).
