camera addiction pt 2

god, so i found out about the canon sd1000 two days ago from young and i immediately sold my sd600 so i could have it. it’s embarrassing how materialistic i am when it comes to camera shit. anyway, i lost about $50 so the damage isn’t very bad. my mind was made up when i saw that the sensitivity goes up to ISO 1600 now and i am kind of into that. it’s twice as high as my last canon and will give me lots more freedom with low light situations. it also has some face recognition crap that i don’t really understand.

weird, how come the mkt price for the sd600 less than sd1000? i use a sd100 at work, i used to not like digital elphs because i thought the focus time was too slow–but now i really like it because it just takes awesome macro photos of dumb shit like zipper heads.

tempted to get one now!

i got the sd1000 off of amazon cause i realized last time i bought a camera from them, there was free shipping and no tax. they had it for -$130 off the list price, so i paid $216 which is a good deal, but i don’t understand amazon really. the price has been fluctuating up and down this week by only a few dollars. the sd1000 has a new processor in it which means less shutter lag and fast focus time.

It’s 218 even on newegg! I am tempted to buy the combo package from them cuz I need a tripod, and it doesn’t hurt that it comes with a camera cozy, but then again it is another 60 bucks. I’ll have to check out Amazon tho because of free shipping… man if I get this, I’ll continue to be bikeless!
