handmade cassette tape DJ set up

i know you might have seen this 2 years ago, but wow.

i can’t even comprehend how anyone could mix two cassettes together but he has audio clips of some mixes he’s made on this. here is the guy’s site

There was a guy in the late 70s who built a faux=mellotron/sampler with tape decks and varispeed motors, hit a key and it fires a tape at the right speed. The electronics involved aren’t that difficult, it’s just a lot of hardware to work with.

Also, this reminded me of your post the other day: bacon.
